Ganesh Bedspreads

Lord Ganesh is the remover of obstacles. He is also the bringer of luck. What better spiritual icon to lay over your bed?!

In one of Ganesh's hands he carries an axe, also known as a parashu which he uses to conquer ignorance and darkness. In another hand he carries a hook, known as an ankusha with which he can steer his followers and make sure they do not lose their path. In one hand he carries a bowl of sweets that are known as modakapatra which symbolises Ganesh's love of all things sweet, and liberation in particular. His final hand his raised palm out in a symbol of protectiveness.

At Ganesh's feet is a mouse. The mouse is often depicted as Lord Ganesh's vehicle. He represents desire; unless under control desire can cause havoc.

These beautiful and bright bed spreads are made from heavy cotton. They measure approximately 2084mm by 2340mm.

Please be aware that these bedspreads have been hand printed in India and as such may differ slightly from the picture due to the techniques involved. Some double printing may occur, but all are brightly coloured and beautiful.

Please note that the colour of bedspread refers to the circle surrounding Lord Ganesh.
